One of the obstacles to professional development is the isolation imposed on teachers by heavy teaching loads and the limited opportunity to interact professionally with colleagues in one's own school, much less colleagues from other schools and possibly even other districts. The Middle School Science Discussion Forum is designed to bring science teachers together to pool our collective knowledge and experience to solve problems unique to our subject. The Discussion Forum is open to all middle school science teachers everywhere.
